Have you ever been offended?

Watching this Stephen Fry doc it dawned on me I have never really ever been offended.

I can accept opinion however much I disagree without being offended.


Anyone else, why do you get offended?

Used to get offended when I was a kid. But getting offended is for kids and old farts who want an excuse to act the big 'un to kids.

I'm not sure what it means and how you'd differentiate it from being shocked at someone's behaviour, or feeling something someone has done is wrong.

Can a person who has felt this nebulous state enlighten me...

Wouldn't say offended but have felt the need to put people right on a number of occasions.

I don't mind personal abuse, I like to laugh at my own expense anyway, it's just when someone says something that is a complete lie.
