    Default Rattus Norvegicus

    Just put it on now

The opening bars of "Sometimes" still send a shiver down my spine after nearly 35 years

The album that shaped my life

    an absolute classic

I got into music fairly young, and as most young kids do, I looked forward rather than back. I was aware of the Stranglers, but it wasn't until about 1985 I got into them.

Had a girlfriend who's older bother had a massive and quality record collection which we plundered regularly. She was a Stranglers uber, so we listened to them a lot.

It was my second musical lightbulb and I've loved punk and The Stranglers ever since.

If I had ever met a female Stranglers Uber I would have loved her forever

None of my exes have ever shared my tastes in music

Our lass's favourite artist and I kid you not is Barry Manilow ! It's hard not to feel too superior in the musical taste stakes like !

My wife wanted Aerosmith played at our wedding

Glad she changed her mind - it would have been awful to see such a beautiful woman remain single

What would you have done if your lass loved: classical, rock, soul, jazz, punk, church, reggae, R&B, D&B... etc?
