They've got a resilience and determination that i'd love us to have. They turn draws into wins at the moment, we turn draws into losses with our fragility.

Here's something shamelessly stolen from midds over on NO

Just a quick point regarding this 'tough start' that Bruce is whinging about. Using last season's league ladder placings:

    Chelsea 2
    Liverpool 6
    WBA 11
    Us 12
    Stoke 13
    Norwich 22
    Swansea 23

    Total = 89 placings. 4 at home and 3 away. Points gained = 6.

Our supposedly 'easy' start using the same criteria:

    Arsenal 4
    Fulham 8
    Villa 9
    Sunderland 10
    Blackburn 15
    Wolves 17
    QPR 21

Total = 84 placings. 3 at home and 4 away. Points gained 15.

The added bonus of our current form is that we are also taking the lions share of points from teams expected to be in or around the bottom half towards the end of the season so that should stand us in good stead when the inevitable dip comes.

Obviously the Mags on this thread think they will stay where they are then. Quite clear that.

Not at all. Realistically, I think we will do extremely well to finish 7th. 10th is more probable imo.

Can't argue with their good run, it will probably keep them up. Like ours did last season.
