Who would have thought that Gateshead would pull in a crowd almost 1,000 bigger than Darlo on the same night.
I remember having a discussion on here with a Darlo fan the season before last about how the Heed used to almost always finish above Darlo when they were both league clubs and how they were also better supported. They got the upper hand in the trophy semi final last season (only just mind and the bigger crowd was at the Heed for the second leg), but look at the table now. They have had nigh on 50 years of league football since Gateshead dropped out and peoples perception is that they were always the bigger club, but in reality they were not bigger than Gateshead back then.

Huge shame Darlo like, Reynolds should never have moved them from Feethams and away from the town centre. The way its looking its gonna be a while before they get league football back.
