Cannot believe someone has the nerve to event demand a refund for a shirt from the club nevermind taking it to the press like this.
yeah his young son wanted Gyan on his sunderland shirt and he refused as he thought he was going. When he found out the club stated we werent letting Gyan go he got the name on the shirt and now since Gyan left, he wants the club to refund him 30quid for the shirt as theyre "responsible for telling us he wasn’t leaving."
sorry but its your own responsibility for choosing to have a players name on your shirt and if they transfer then tough.....ive got bloody Kevin Kyle on one of mine then he left. its a risk you have to take.
on the case where he says the club are "responsible for telling us he wasn’t leaving."....lets put it this way.....i love my car and if someone offered me 5k for it i would say no and that theres no way im selling it....however if they come back and offer 30k then its too good to refuse....(maybe with the club, likely to have rejected bids for Gyan and said he aint leaving but with these Arabs offering silly money for a loan then its too good to refuse)
Thats by rant of the day done though but really cannot see why you would take this to the press.
