    Default Soccer World Newcastle?

Wasn't sure whether to put this in the SMB or here, but I've taken a punt and tried here seeing as how it related more to five-a-side.

Our university course (In Newcastle) has decided to try to get a five-a-side tournament going again this year, they did one previously and used the Eldon sports centre, which as far as I can tell doesn't have 3rd gen pitches, looks to me like its hard surface in door ones, which I'd rather give a miss unless it's my last option.

I know there's a goals in Sunderland and that was the first point of call as I use one down in S.E. London, but it's a bit far to get them to travel to. So, long story short, has anyone played at Soccer World and is it any good, finally what are the prices like as they don't have anything listed on their site

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Haven't played there for a while but its canny. Powerleague at Gateshead has plenty of pitches, couple of 7 a side too

Sure there's a place in Newcastle (might be gosforth) where they show replays of your goals that's supposed to be canny

Cheers Whitey, I've checked out the websites for the other two you mentioned. Probably all going to come down to prices now. Thanks for the heads up!

Is soccerworld the one on Westgate road at the college/school? If so it's outdoor and spot on. I play there every other week.

No idea if it's at a college or a school. It's on the west road though, looks outdoors to me, think that'll be the one we end up at.

Another question for those that have been to these places in the toon, what are my chances of wearing a Sunderland top to these places without getting roughed up? Its obviously not much of a problem in S.E London, even seen another lad in the blue away top, but wondering about these places.

Seen a few wearing sunderland tops at power league Gateshead, wouldn't fancy wearing it on west gate road though. I don't bother wearing any Sunderland stuff over Newcastle way not worth the hassle
