Default Wickham to start on Sunday

According to our friends at the Daily Fail.

Be surprised if he does, Ji has impressed more IMO.

Would be laughable to not start Ji after he scored his first goal

Would be for his physical presence if he does start? Ji deserves a start more than Wickham though.

If he does start a head of Ji, Bruce will go even further down in my estimation.

We've got to get 2 out and out Strikers back on the pitch, I'd plump for Dongy ahead of Wickham though

My opinion also. Course logic doesn't seem to exist when it comes to team selections

agreed...Catts deserves to be benched at present and Vaughan needs a start but would we have the physical muscle to contend with the size, weight and brute strength of a stoke side who've made their style of play relevant to their ability to muscle their way around?
Not an easy call for Bruce..guaranteed if Catts does start, he'll be in the book early on and lucky to last the match as he simply doe not have the self control.
Ji just may be a bit light-weight against the bully boys.
There again, the more agile may be a solution.

Would it surprise you though? He stuck with Mignolet after conceding 5 at Newcastle, then dropped him after he'd kept a clean sheet the next week.

I heard about it, not sure if it's true like. I'll be really pissed off if he started, Ji deserves it.
