I honestly think they sometimes dont even bother knocking. Happened to me last week as well. Despite the fact I didnt leave the house all day.

I was sat once in clear view through the front window watching tele. heard the letterbox go looksout the window and the guys just walking off.
He must have seen me but didnt even have the parcel with him.
When i ran out and collared him he was all huffy and went to the van to dig out the parcel from under a big pile.

Seems strange because the majority of couriers get paid per drop and if they don't get rid of the parcel they won't be paid for it.

I remember a thread on here from a couple of years ago where someone stated that the company they worked for planned into their business that City Link would lose 20% of all parcels. Or a similar figure. I think it was Lou Carpernter With a Shave. Could be wrong.
