Again, what about the things you havent seen? Did they happen?

Re the bird, if it flew in why didnt it fly out? It couldnt fly out because is wings had been clipped. If it couldnt fly out, it couldnt fly in.

Bar the words of one or two SAFC fans on here, I've seen no evidence to suggest the bird came from the South Stand...

I saw it first near the away end. No chance it flew in, too coincidental.

Do you admit the possiblity that you are wrong on this? As you say, you havent seen any evidence to prove you are right, its just supposition. All I have seen proves you are wrong.

The birds wings had obviously been clipped, it could no longer fly. Do you dispute this?

On the assumption therefore that it was brought into the ground, by whatever means, which set of fans do you think are most likely to have done so, based on likley motives?

    Just asking.

not to be pedantic but if something is classified as vermin it doesn't have a season, it can be killed at anytime.

TBH I know the picture I've seen of this black cat mascot and I'm 90% certain it was pre WW1 (certainly pre 1937). I was surprised when it was stated that the guns were there being during the Napoleonic war but us in the NE have long memories in that regard (Hartlepool ).

The slightly 'greasy' bit by the club is in them constantly playing down anything 'official' until the nickname vote on changing ground, SAFCSA used the black cat from the beginning, and the club made a number of hijack attempts that it now conveniently omits from its official history. No reason to do so, but they for some reason want to continue to make such a big deal of a frankly pointless vote.

    1. official club ties from the 70's bore a logo with the black cat on a ball.

    2. In order to trademark it, the black cat appeared on a shirt a number of years prior to the vote.
