What is more important..
A much stronger squad but a weakened first team from last year, or a cracking team on paper but a depleted squad if there is any injury's/suspensions.
I really feel this is the case for us this year. Opinions?

We really could have had both if we'd just signed a quality left winger. Somebody like Etherington or Jarvis would have made our squad very strong and our first XI would have looked a lot stronger. Now when I think of our first XI it's very unbalanced.
One good signing could have changed it all.
