Working through all the threads and views about yesterday. I think the biggest scandle is that Bruce has spent all that money and put out a makeshift team . How other can you explain the following:

A goalkeeper who i am sure bruce does not think is ready to play at this level week in week out.
A centre half who on the basis of previous decsions is fifth choice and he would sell tomorow if he could.
Player of the season last year at left back playing right back, where Bruce never rated him.
A right sided mid fielder who could not hold down a regular position when there was enough players fit last season, and a position clearly intended for Larson.
A left sided midfielder who had to keep tracking back to the half way line he is so one footed.
Two central midfieders who are to similar in style. when we needed one to be hitting the box with runs and be able to take a chance when it arrived. Probably why we bought Gardiner?
A centre forward who because of his attitude is carrying more timber than B&Q, but none of the new buys are equiped to replace him.

Compare that to newcastle's game plan and it was obvious we hed been out thought. Their manager won the game ours lost it.

This time last season Henderson, Bent, Mensah, Malbrangue would all have got in that team before the players who did. Have we improved Mr Bruce?

Some excellent points made here, can't disagree with much of it. Throw in the fact that we knew that their best chance of scoring was from a set piece but we continually gave away or let them buy soft free kicks. When you think back over the years how many goals they've scored from set pieces compared to us is frightening.

Totally agree we have no balance at all and it doesnt help players are playing out of position, a mean everyone knows richardson isnt a left back! Also our tactics are inept, why do we persist in playing long balls constantly to our small strikers when they could scare teams if we played it to feet

These are the questions that ES would be asking if he was knowledgeable enough concerning football. Their certainly the questions that Bruce should be answering to someone.

Not defending Bruce..but we do have players to come in...
He backed the side that did well at Liverpool...blew the game...just like he did last season...which he admitted later saying the team was doing well so he kept faith..
No doubt left side hasnt been addresed or the striker...only days left..

How Elmo is getting a game. I was happy when he was signed but only on the assumption he was being bought as a squad player.
We have bought those players to improve the side. Get them on the pitch.
The strange thing is it all looks so obvious and the only person to disagree is bruce. I just dont get his thinking. I dont think I would be to botherd if he didnt manage us any more.

The thing that is driving me mental is we are 1 or 2 players short of a great squad. Its blindingly obvious. Playing someone so right footed on the left is mad. Elmo delivery is very mixed and Larson having to cut in meant there was very little for players to attack and so played into their hands. We need BALANCE Bruce. We need Larson on the right and Gyan should be fined for the state he has come back in. At least play a lefty on the left Vaughn/ Colback.

Im so sick. Was in a pub in London where 90% were scum. I have never wanted Bruce out but if he doesnt sort out tactical stupidity in the next few games want his head.

Oh and we signed 10 players to improve the squad and when they scored I glanced at the bench and thought SHIT.

He is as capable of changing a game using subs as my left nad.

Hes got 6 games. Oh and while your at it. Loose some weight you fat C**T set an example for your staff and players.

How can a man who meant to lead and inspire athletes expect to inspire if he looks so unfit. Wonder whats its doing to his stamina and speed of thought. He probably spends half his spare time asleep
