I bailed at the static image.

BBC throw money at shite like this, while BBC4 is in danger of losing its funding.

    Pathetic.

I would rather have gouged my eyes out with a rusty knife than watched that.

Couldn't disagree more with these comments. Caught his show in Edinburgh on Tuesday and he's a genius. As far as laughs are concerned, he had plenty of applause breaks and got a standing ovation at the end, too.

A genius in what respect? I barely raised a smile watching that. Comedy is all subjective i suppose but i didn't find that funny in the slightest.

What you've got to bear in mind with that video is that it's not his best material by a long shot - the more successful stuff comes over the course of an hour where he can set-up routines for a big pay-off at the end. He's also very inventive with props and some of his ideas for routines are absolutely brilliant. His timing is fantastic at times, and he can get laughs out of slight facial expressions - something which isn't exactly represented too well in the BBC clip.

I think it's quite easy to see him as a bit of a gimmick act but there's a childish humour to it all that you can't help but enjoy. Well, I can't help but enjoy...

One of the most sought after acts in stand-up, so yes.
