If you have multiple Android devices, can you use the same Google account on each of them, or does each need to use a separate Google account?

yes, although if you've set up 2 factor security on your gmail account you'll need to set up different permanent passwords on each device in case one of them gets lost or stolen.

What does that mean? Two different logons for the same account, which both see the same email?

No, single email account & login but then if you're logging in from a browser after your password you get a second prompt for a 6 digit code, a bit like using an rsa token if; you've ever had one.

I dunno if I love it or not yet, just seem to be acquiring a shitload of them at the moment, as I keep spotting really good deals. And when the SGS2 with NFC chip finally arrives I'll be snaffling one of them anarl. So I might as well figure out how to set them all up now.

Cheers marra - got it now. I don't really actually use any Google services, just have the mandatory account(s) for the devices.
