think we were happy to wait it out till the end of the window but the immenent Villa bid will force our hand. probably end up paying a bit more than we wanted but Bruce wont want to lose out after how long we've been chasing him.

Bent's on £65,000 a week at Villa, that's their wage limit. Our wage limit is around £50,000 at the minute. That's just taken from sources such as The Telegraph and The Guardian and perhaps they're just making educated guesses, but it would seem to be there or thereabouts.

I don't think we would have matched Villa's wage offer to Bent at all and personally I think that was just Quinny bluffing. I also don't think N'Zogbia would come here for £50,000 a week when he could easily get £60,000-£65,000 at Villa.

Unfortunately I think he's Villa bound, but you do have form for these sort of threads as being hints, like the ''What would you think of Connor Wickham?'' from April passed among others. I hope you're right here mate

A because as posted earlier they will pay him silly money. Villa are desperate for a big signing after losing Downing and Young and a big signing like N'Zogbia might calm their fans down a bit.

Bruce has said 4 must go and i think he has been trying to get rid before lumbering 50-60k a week onto the wage bill .If we get rid of killa macca and noz there wages will more then cover n zogbia's
