what sometimes people dont appreciate on here is

    a) the jump to international cricket is huge from county cricket. Anderson took 6 years to settle into the England side as an example

    b) he is trying to master two arts in intl cricket whereas most only have to master one art

    c) he has been yanked around the side too much and like with Bell, needs a settled role in the side which suits him. That would be in the mould of Albie Morkel and before him Justin Kemp for SA who were given license to swing the willow in the last 10 overs while being a fourth seamer

hope we do, I like seeing England players succeed. I was wrong about Bell, hold my hands up.

Wright doesnt have it for me. 44 games now, averages just over 20 with the bat and they dont trust him with the ball.

    hope he comes off like

He lacks both the raw power and batting technique to be anywhere the near the level of those players mentioned.
