    Luke Wright is fucking shite.

    Average county player at best.

Atherton is right when he said Woakes is too friendly to open the bowling.

I wonder if England will get left behind in 20/20 Intl cricket due to our players bar one or two not playing IPL which is comfortably the best limited overs competition in world cricket bar none.

Pietersen and Morgan played very well and seem like the only ones who understand the shorter format when it comes to batting.

The running between the wickets was poor today, especially from fatty.

Lets not forget though that in the bat around the park versions of the game the Sri Lankans are a very good outfit.

Who cares if we do? For the vast majority of true cricket fans, being there or thereabouts in test cricket is all that matters. These games are nothing more than a warm up for the tests against India and a chance for some of the younger/fringe players to play some international cricket.

dunno the agenda is with anderson but you keep making yaself look like a tatie. i dont particular rate him in the shorter versions of the game but at test level he is quality. yes he will be better in certain conditions, just like every other bolwer is ffs.

all correct, regardless of what EB will come back with (which will no doubt be summat about how many countries dont care about test cricket anymore).

EB will come back with this.....

Test cricket is the better format and is the one I would rather watch but considering we play more domestic cricket than anyone else I would ask questions why we are in the main so poor in one day cricket

i wouldnt have a clue either. my guess, and its just a guess, is that we dont have enough good death bowlers and attacking doesnt come natural to most english players, still.

however, i suppose it doesnt bother me cos out of all formats the ODI is the one i wouldnt care less about if they decided to scrap it tomorrow.

I would say it is because one day cricket is a batsmans game and pretty much every country play on flatwickets whereas we play on wickets 'which do a bit if you put it in the right spot'.
