Advice please: mouldy washing machine
Oh wise SMB, I have a washing machine that I think is mouldy inside. Everytime I wash clothes in it they come out smelling musty, and foisty. When I stick them on the clothes horse they stink the house out. I have to cover them in febreeze to make them smell nice.
I've tried running hot washes with bio powder through, I've tried washing machine cleaning liquid through. I always leave the door and drawer open in between washes.
I have no idea what to try next.
Anyone?

It's not the seal, and yes I've had the tray out and soaked.

Re: Advice please: mouldy washing machine
95 degree wash with either a cup of washing soda (not caustic soda as a mate of mine once did) or half a pint of white vinegar in the detergent drawer is a starting point
Also pull out the detergent drawer completely (there should be a retaining clip at the back) then look into the resulting hole and upwards.... usually black with mould there (dunno why) but some hot water and a stiff brush gets shot of it.
