I'm not a boring miserable fucker, I just prefer a modern act to not be talking about the film I Am Legend as if it has just came out. :/
Then at the end, his encore was cringeworthy. He took off his jacket or ripped off his sleeves to reveal multi-coloured puffy sleeves and proceeded to mince about to the song Tequila whilst shaking some fucking marraccas!
Jimmy Carr is awesome live! So was Craig Charles when i saw him at Boro town hall years ago, and got to have a pint with him.
Lee Mack, Rob Brydon, Michael McIntyre and the other recent ones that seem to have came from some combination of Dave and BBC 3 programmes are not funny to me. I never thought it was possible, but there is too much stand up on TV now.
Omid Djalili is a funny guy. As is Stephen K Amos. As well as Rob Gilbert.
Oh yeah, seen Sarah Millican too. Crap. Comedy for lasses imo.
Most of the greats are dead or past it. Some of the funniest people I have seen in person or on TV I don't even know their names.
LOL @ the guy who mentioned Lenny Henry! Big unfunny bed breaking !
As for Jasper Carrot, I can't believe I used to laugh at Canned Carrot. Times change but some comedy remains funny, sadly his doesn't stand the test of time for me.

I'd happily pay to see him like.

I think he's funny occasionally and good for the banter. Rich Hall is funny occasionally but doesn't join in.
The worst on QI are Brand and Jupitus, Brands got three recurring jokes at most and Jupitus whole act is being matey with Fry, but the worst by a mile is Johnny Vegas who ruins every show he's on, shouting random idiotic things throughout doesn't make you funny or interesting.

This is the one any only answer. On his site he's lifted a bunch of quotes from the SMB, slagging him off. Mini, Mag Bastard & more.
Indeed, at a warm-up gig in London the other week, he pointed out the following one:
Quote:
|
“I know this guy... not well... but I can in fact confirm that he is a cock ! I've spoken to him several times in the past at various get-together's (although not recently) and he is a bit of a pillock! He used to go out with my wifes' cousin. He came up a few times for Xmas and one or two other things. I found him to be a little condescending and a bit arrogant... I think it must be a thing with people who become famous, whereby they automatically think they are superior to you, just cos they've been on Telly... Anyway they've split up now and my wifes cousin seems a lot happier. I'd expect him to keep his stand-up routine seperate from day to day life, but then perhaps I'm expecting too much. I like his comedy, but as a person, he's a bit of an arse.” MrBloefeldt, readytogo.com
|
And said something along the lines of "I actually figured out who this was, from his story. I thought he was quite a nice guy when I met him. Oh well."

The first two were around before those channels. The Sketch show was on ITV 10 years ago and superb http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7v7Z22jGNSo
I don't know where Michael McIntyre came from but he must have something on the BBC bosses.

Fair play mate. I guess that Marion and Geoff programme could be funny (I remember when he was on Top Gear and they showed a clip) but I have never seen it advertised. I know it's old now, but you would think Dave would be on it.
