If we sign John O'Shea I beleive it will be one of our best signings ever. Born winner and still only 30yo. Would make an excellent club captain.

Like it or not this guys already a ManU legend

He's on 80k a week. Would be surprised if we matched his wages.

We'll never get O'Shea like. No way will Fergie let him go when he's lost Scholes experience.

only 30. Great. So we get 5 years tops when Hendo had mebbe 15 left in him. I do like O'Shea, but who knows what he'd be like away from Man Utd?

He possesses what very, very few of our current playing staff have...consistency. He may not be Franz Beckenbauer, but when called upon, he never seems to let a top class team like Man Utd down. I'd be staggered and over the moon, if we could get him.

We have many players, who are capable of man of the match performances, such as Turner, Cattermole, Richardson, Gordon. What they fail to do, is produce it week in week out. I think that is why our fans have been so appreciative of the likes of Bardsley and Bramble (for most of the season).

When these horrendous commentators, state that 'such and such, is a solid but unspectacular player', what they really mean is he's consistent.

    Give me consistent any day!
