Mini Greenhouse - Why did everything die?
I've been after one of these for ages, as I saw it as something of a magic bullet.
I enjoy growing bits and bobs - at the moment, I've been trying my hand at palm trees and habenero chillies.
Finally got round to putting up the greenhouse the other day - just a mini thing - clear plastic in a cheap metal frame.
Got back from work today - the palm tree (3 inches tall) is brown. All of the missus' flower seedlings are wilted and my African Violet plants both look terrible.
Any idea whats happened?
Nothing was dry. I've got a bucket of water in the base to give it some ballast - and that has kept things nice and humid.

You have actually watered the compost haven't you?
How hot has it been where you are? Has there been airflow through the tent?

Everything had been on my windowsills until yesterday. Yeh, the soil is nice and wet.
Er, airflow???? I think I've found my mistake - please elaborate?

Its got a 2 zip thing at the front - I'll leave one of them open and see what happens.
Thank feck the chilli plants look ok so far - I'd have been gutted if I'd killed them.

Fella next door to us has a greenhouse and always opens the door twice a day, in the morning and once the sun has dropped. He gets some cracking tomatoes and other veg.
