...looks to be available for 1m after some problems with the manager at Shakhtar.
I think it would be a good option for Sunderland, even more if the other option is Figueroa.

We were linked with him about 2 years ago and he wanted to come here but we decided that McCartney and Collins were the way forward.

I always thought he was underrated in FM.

see him often here on the box and to be honest he's nowt special.
At this level (A bit like the scottish league) there's only two sides in it each year..Dynamo and Shaktar Donetsk, with the occaisional threat for runner up being Metalist from Kharkiv.
Bearing in mind there's little to go by, he often looks good against semi-pro players.
Still, one never knows, could just be the perk he needs to rise to a greater level.

I've seen him many times playing for Romania and Shakhtar in Europe (they won the UEFA cup two years ago and this year they won the Arsenal group and eliminated Roma with a 6-2 overall score, only to be eliminated by Barcelona) and I think he's a very good left back, much better than the likes of Figueroa or Richardson.
