Rayban dispute
So I bought some sunglasses from a Glasgow based company last week and picked them up from the mail depot on Saturday. These were bought as a replacement for copy ones I had that were damaged but as they were really good I wanted the same make and lense.
So I opened the box and they had the leather wallet, official sticker attached to the lense and paperwork etc but the lense was not the same as my other pair. That pair have a reflective outer i.e you can't see through them whereas these you can and are green.
The old pair have a big smear on one of the lenses that won't come off.
So I boxed them back up, emailed the company to say they were not what I thought they would be. Yeah fine was the reply and there's a no quibble 7 day return policy etc
So I sent them back recorded delivery yesterday and have just read my emails tonight. One is from the shop saying thanks for the return however there must be some sort of mix up as the glasses I have sent back are not the ones they sell. They are the US model not the UK model?
I've emailed back saying I'm not sure what he means but if the mix up has occurred then they have done it when sending them out. Please let me know your thoughts etc.
I've definitely sent back the right glasses and TBH didn't think there was a difference between UK and US? It sounds to me that he's trying to get out of the return or at worst accuse me of stealing which I'm not happy about.
Does anyone know what my options would be in this instance if this turns into a bigger dispute?
