The Tories haven't done too badly.

As a labour supporter Im pleased Newcastle has returned a labour council.

However the labour party in Sunderland must be f*cking useless to be honest. I know there are issues but Newcastle has seen regeneration Sunderland could only dream of over the past 20 years.

Councillors should be asking well paid council officers why Sunderland in many places is a shit hole and not seeing the regeneration Newcastle has.

The area around the SOL its f*cking disgusting litter, pot holed roads, broken and old street lighting. For many who visit Sunderland thats their only impression. The SOL is class of course.
