Default ok...I'm going to say it...

...at risk of being called racist, I mentioned on here some months ago about African individualistic styles, witnessed at first hand over years of both playing, refereeing and just watching of football and how it doesn't work in a team context..(many years in Africa).and i stand by it still.
Kaizer chiefs in SA had a dream team within the confines of style of play in the NPSL , but wouldn't keep a place in our second division due to lack of discipline and cohesion...simply their style of play and entertainment, where crowds enjoy the showmanship and don't appreciate the nuances of the european game as much as
Since we signed Muntari and Sess, we've lost flow, cohesion and composure...nothing against the lads , apart from they play a different game.
One thing i have noticed s that Hendo's game changed dramatically taking into consideration he started to play a lot deeper and missed the attacking role he was doing so well at.
Yes, there are exceptions...but in general the African game is very different to the Premier league and players that shine there rarely show the same potential after being exposed to the more tactically driven English game.
Apart from pace, first touch, show-boating and faffing around all contribute to a game we don't need at this level.
The away win at Chelsea showed us what we could do when we tried...however shortly after the wheels started to fall off.
Sess has shown he has ability and can adapt, however Muntari for me is over-weight, a risk and a liability and definitely not suited to our game.
So there...feelings expressed and awaiting some to say i'm a racist and not simply expressing what I genuinely believe, based on experience and comparison.

Since we signed Sessegnon and Muntari we've also lost Bent and Welbeck, surely two far more important factors?

Seem's a bit weird that Muntari excelled in european football before he was here? I think it has something more to do with him not being arsed than Kaizer Chiefs idea's on how to play the game.

    African teams lack cohesion?

Did you watch England vs Ghana at Wembley in March? They looked pretty cohesive, and caused the 'Tactically Driven' England side a lot of problems in my opinion.

Not sure I agree with you generalist conclusion, but I can agree with you that Muntari definitely looks a 'risk'.....disinterested, lacking motivation, lacking fight...I could go on, but I won't.
