Default New players and new manager

Given that Bruce has said we need 8 new players, next season is pretty much clean slate time anyway with not a lot to build on, so in a way now is not a bad time for the club to say goodbye to Bruce and get someone else in.

I dread to think that Bruce will be given tens of millions to spend in the summer and it will be the same old clueless shite from him.

Bruce cannot be allowed to be responsible for finally pissing off Short to the extent he says he cant be bothered any more and wants out. Quinn needs to be cruel to be kind, get Bruce out of the hole he has dug himself and get a stronger man in.

I wouldn't even wait until the end of the season. Just get rid of him now and let Bally take control for the remaining games.

I actually trust Bruce to bring in some decent players.

However, his complete inability to get them working as an effective unit is what greatly worries me. You could hand him Barcelona's first XI and he'd still be playing 4-4-2 with players out of position and telling them to get the ball up to Villa and Messi's head.

Playing Puyol up front and seeing how many Wigan players he can sign.

IF the manager said we need 8 new players, how can that not be construed as a statement of failure ?

All these people calling for Bruce to go now, know nowt about football. For the last two seasons he has us fighting for Europe at Christmas, then he takes us into freefall Obviously January is the time to sack him. He just can't do 2nd halves, matches or seasons.

It would be a good time to get rid of Bruce if SAFC hadn't given him a massive new contract. Would cost a few bob to wave goodbye at this stage.
