Phillips head screws and screw driver.

    Shortest thread ever.

Why has no one invented something to regroove the screws or re sharpen the tool......because you fucking can't and they're a heap of shit.

Mrs BIG MAL..."Can you just change this?I'ts only two screws "

BIG MAL....(75 mins later)" I want a divorce."

I'm pretty sure they were invented to maximise the torque you could put on the screw while reducing the chances the screwdriver will slip out

Crosshead screws are brilliant. Quick and easy to use and no slippage risk unlike slotted screws. They also work well with power screwdrivers/drills. They are only really problematic when the wrong size or type of driver is used. If you use the wrong size, or mix pozi drive and phillips, the screws and possibly the screwdriver can be damaged.

Use the right tool and they are fantastic. There's a good reason crosshead screws vastly outnumber slotted screws these days - they're just better.

Allen head screws are vastly superior to both as they use a higher tensile strength normally so why arent their sales vastly greater.

And to the other patronising cnuts.....fuck off and die .

    Deep breaths

By the way flat head screwdrivers are the ones that should be destroyed. They are really shite.
