Would you care to back that drivel about "buying something from the club shop" up with some facts, you have to be a bronze member at Tottenham to join the season ticket waiting list, it has a couple of added benefits over Lillywhite membership, but the main aim is that fans pay a yearly fee to gain a place on Tottenham's season ticket waiting list, they are also placed on the list in order so that they know where they are on the list.
Currently Spurs have over 42,000 fans on their season ticket waiting list, and around 100,000 official club members, the very fact that some of you are trying to take the piss out of Liverpool's and Tottenham's support is just laughable, they are historically the 2nd and 3rd best supported clubs in the country as far as all time average attendances go.

They'll be waiting a while then, new stadium is a mile off and Anfield difficult to develop.

A successful team in London should have a large waiting list. I find it sad however that fans have to pay to join a club which then allows them a chance to buy a season ticket at some time in the future. Think I would pack in supporting SAFC if they made us do it. Its just one of a number of of things about modern day football that is taking the game away from its roots.

Daniel Levy is a great chairman for Spurs in many ways, but he would charge us Spurs fans for the steam of of his piss if he could.
