    We'll need the smartphone market stats to make any sense of the Apple results. Selling twice as many iPhones in a static market = great. Selling twice as many when market has doubled = treading water. Selling twice as many when market has more than doubled = falling behind.

    iPad isn't doing as well as expected. Perhaps that's because portable tablet computing is a shit idea and people are beginning to realise this.
