Its the day before the day before
Bruce out, O’Neil in, our future, all go on the back burner for me until 5 on Saturday evening.
It’s Easter weekend, the weather is glorious and my weekend is planned, well it is up to Saturday evening when three options are possible.
Option 1
I stand at 4.50 applauding the boys after our fantastic win, looking at the scoreboard for other results to see how far up the table we have climbed. Then its home via my favoroute Indian for a takeaway and football first to watch it all again. Laptop on celebrating with my cyber mates on SMB.
Option 2
All of above with the added bonus of Blackpool beating the mugs so we go above them.
Option 3
We lose, others win and I sit in a empty SoL, head in hands, appetite gone and dreading a lonely drive home. Weekend spent on suicide watch knowing that relegation trap door that was so far away not long ago is at my feet.
Please god make it 1 or 2, not sure I could take 3 and I hope Bruce and his boys understand the importance of the weekend but don’t have my nerves, it’s looking like a 36k plus crowd on Saturday and it would be good if at least 11 of us there are calm, assured, on form and confident.
Just hope its the right 11.
