Hell of a show this week, I thought. Two songwriting geniuses in one week, Randy Newman and Brian Wilson, fabulous. Liked the new Arctic Monkeys stuff and Union Station are always worth a listen but it was Warpaint that really caught my eyes and ears. Think I'll have to pop along to the Academy to see them Monday week. The sound man had better be on form though, been shit the last twice I've been there and these girls need to be heard properly.

Brilliant episode this week. Warpaint were fantastic and I cant wait to see them in Barca in a couple of weeks. Not a big fan of the new Arctic Monkeys stuff but Allison Krauss, Randy Newman and Brian Wilson were amazing. The episode a few weeks back with PJ Harvey, Lykke Li, The Unthanks and Avery Sunshine was brilliant n'arl.

think they would be great live, had a listen to some of their stuff on myspace/music page and thought it was just bog standard R&B (old style)

aye it was good to see. never realised that shannyn sossamon, the actress out of rules of attraction used to be there drummer.
