Lost my wheel lock nut
Got slow puncture on Navara, took van too garage but I seemed to have misplaced the lock nut thing when I last got tyres replaced!
Any ideas how to solve this problem? |

Tyre fitters just break them off man and put ordinary ones on.

Took a photo of the locking nut, emailed it to the garage I bought the car from and they got a replacement delivered from Toyota UK the next day. Cost £4

one of my locking nuts wouldnt come off, so the garage just hammered a socket over the top, it worked
i took the rest off and put normal ones on, locking nuts are a pain in the arse.

yes they are a bastard
Just realised I tried to change the wheel on Sunday but got sidetracked and I left the locking nut on the stud. I blew the tyre up later so the nut thing must have fell off when i drove off 06:21 PM.. |

I had a puncture last Summer, put on the go-slow spare on and drove home. When I got home I noticed the locking nut on the wheel. It had remained there for nearly 60 miles at 55 mph...
