I beg to differ. The songs of the Kinks are so much better than The Who. They are more subtle, more interesting and better.(IMHO of course)

I was back in the UK last year, for a match, and he was on at my old club, Rock City Nottingham, I'd seen him loads of times in the 70's and 80's and was a bit wary of seeing him in case it spoiled the memories.

No need to worry.

He was mint and came for a drink in the bar with us afterwards.

A really decent bloke and has had a very interesting life.
