Default Libya - what's the end game?

Seems as though the chess pieces are being moved around the middle east but how is this going to end? Who actually are the Libyan rebels and who is co-ordinating them? Are these the people who sent our special forces back recently after a misunderstanding? Is regime change the goal here and can it be done without Western forces on the ground?

reckon so. if he goes south his own folks get him. if he stays in Tripoli we stand at long range and do him over. no reason for our lads to be on the ground really

We're trying to even the odds up. Once people know those loyal to Gaddaffi don't have the ability to bomb and attack them we'll find out how popular he really is.

He's a sneaky old fucker mind so expect every trick in the book to shake the coalition's resolve. They started last night, according to them, there was a hospital hit, and it was full of old people.

Kid's ward next I expect, you can't move for them around military targets.

Oil is the end game and always has been and always will be. Did the UN want to get rid of Idi Amin or Pol Pot??? No because they did not have oil reserves with which to hold the west ransom!! Iraq, Afghhanistan and possibly Argentina again is all to do with oil. I fear for the world I really do.
