They are after city status. Dont give a fuck one way or the other, but why does it matter if you are a town or a city. Some bint reckoned it would create jobs. why? what is the point. Its the same old shithole no matter what you call it. Why is it important, cos I remember when Sunderland became one, people were bothered but I never knew why.
