Right following my thread asking for help with what to cook on sat night, I have decided to stay with my orignal idea for the main course of a roast breast of lamb stuffed with appricots.

So I am now looking at what wine to put with it, i was thinking a nice montepulciano but wondered if anybody could recommened something as matching wine and food isnt my strongest point!

cracking offers on wine at all outlets these days it seems--find some with a decent reduction then read label for match with food.

i didnt realise there was more than one variety of it
very nice anyway, id never had rioja until last weekend at a tapas restaurant, then on friday again
