The current Barcelona side
I know some people don't like all the fawning over them, but looking at their strongest XI and the way they play, is there anyone in the world who you would pick who would genuinely improve them?
I guess there are better goalkeepers, but having said that Valdes is great with his feet and he's probably busier with them than he is with his hands. Left back's a possibility, but are there that many left backs better than Abidal? Even Adriano offered as much as Ashley Cole does last night.

Daryl Murphy would undoubtedly add a new dimension.

You're right, they may only stay in single figures.

Re: The current Barcelona side
Fernando Llorente
They could use a physical presence as a Plan B when up against an Inter Milan type team. In the past they've lost to Inter and luckily scraped past Chelsea thanks to the referee.
Triangle passes lose their effectiveness when large, deep lying, organised teams suck the space out of the pitch. I think the ideal player would be Llorente as he can still play a bit and wil already know many of them from the national team. I presume this was their thinking when they signed Ibrahimovich.

Re: The current Barcelona side
as per tarten mackem i think there is a deal in place for llorente to join either barca or real madrid for next season.
if mourinho stays at real, i think they might sign drogba so llorente will probably end up with barca

Re: The current Barcelona side
I reckon a better left back, such as Evra or Cole and a better right winger, Robben springs to mind, even though he played for Real so it's unlikely, or someone similar.

Just the combination of stature and technique really. He's about 6ft5 I think, but he can play a bit (nowhere near as skilful as Ibra mind).
I think he could fit into their starting lineup depending on the situation. I don't think any team has a straight XI that plays if fit. Depends on the opposition usually.
