LCD TV Screen Repairs

Has anyone had an LCD TV repaired lately? Our boy's managed to smash the screen on his by kicking a Lucozade bottle at it when he was in a strop. He's asking me if I know anyone who could fix it or get a new screen he can fit, but aside from picking a repair company out of the magic Google hat I don't know anyone who could fix it, and I doubt he could fit a new screen on his todd.

Any advice / recommended repair companies would be git good.

I remember hearing that its actually cheaper to buy a new un that repair, could be wrang though. Wouldnt be the first time.

Lucozade isnt that dear, just get a new bottle

To kick a plastic bottle hard enough to break a screen I reckon he must've drank it anyway.

I dinnr like, if it was full and stood on its bottom could kick it like a conversion in rugby. Plus the added liquid would increase the chance of a smashed screen.

Wheres Gudgeon when you need a detective?

Mt two were fighting with a soft baseball bat and hit the screen leaving a big 'spider' across it.

Our household insurance company said it wasn't worth fixing and replaced it (with a slightly better one).

Still knacked the kids like.
