That's actually one of Kossoff's guitars that Joe is using there. Loaned to him for the night by Arthur Ramm from Sunderland, who was given it by Kossoff's dad after Paul's death.

Joe, it's a video of Joe Bonemassa playing Mr Big at the City Hall last year.

Surely the whole point of Mr Big was to highlight what a brilliant bass player Andy Fraser was?

Maybe, but Kossoff's distinctive lead work is still in there.

As for the cover above, he played one or two other Free songs as well IIRC - Fire and Water perhaps. I wasn't there like, just see the vids before.

Thanks guys.I will check out the clip when I get home next week. You are so right about Andy Fraser. He was one hell of a bass player. Never undestood why he Rodgers and Kirke have never really got it together again for one last blast.
Fuck me! that would be some show, seing those three on stage again. i would be rock solid hard for a full week...

Me Dad asked the same question when I was on about the Bad Co. gig last year. Makes you wonder if it's ever been considered by them.

Fraser has AIDs nowadays so maybe isn't well enough for something of that scale, but I read an interview with him not so long back that he's back working and had an album coming out.

And there's the Fraser interview... http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/inter...r_therapy.html
