    Default Cutting out the carbs

OK, so I'm never going to stop drinking lager but I'm going to try and cut everything else out.

Just looking for some workable suggestions for breakfast / dinner and tea.

Usually eat Honeynut Clusters for breakfast.
Shit loads of carbs by the looks of it (approx 35g) as has porridge, not sure what else I can have that's a slow energy burner but has less in it.

Dinner is egg mayonnaise sarnies, egg is OK but the bread which is wholemeal has like 16g per slice! I was thinking about switching to a flask of soup but even that has 40g of carbs in it.

Tea can be a lot of pasta / rice or noodles. Unfortunately as we often have meals as a family I can't switch some of that to wholemeal as I'm the only one who likes it

If you are going for a simple no carb diet like the atkins one, have egg and bacon. Grill the bacon.

I quite often just have 2 eggs scrambled.

Or have a jacket potato. That'll stop you getting hungry. No carbs in potato.

Not trying to go Atkins to be honest just trying to cut down on my intake as I think it's quite high.

I want something I can keep up permanent and not develop halitosis

Jacket potato and beans = bingo!

    Forget about this carbs thing.
Don't eat any breakfast at all.
It just makes you hungry and think about food all the time.
Just drink plenty of cups of tea until lunch time.
Make lunch your first meal of the day.
Eat brown bread and just be sensible with what you eat.
Don't starve yourself and make sure you eat some fruit.
