Google Chrome Error 105

I hope someone can help please.

I had this error on my PC (Vista) and laptop (XP). I was able to repair it on the PC by going via the network and sharing centre (there was a red cross on the connection between my home hub and the internet), but I can not replicate it in XP on the laptop as XP manages the connections differently.

Has anyone had the same problem? I can not connect to the internet via any of the browsers and it is becoming f*cking annoying.

And yes I know the usual respsonse.
