    In principal you have to admire his stance... In reality player power will take over and he will get the sack! Agree though we could do with a lot more doing this

    Agree with this, it's something that the likes of Cloughy would at one time do or say, but those days are long gone now.

    Yes well PL certainly has had a glittering managerial career thus far. he'd certainly be one of the first most aspiring managers would run to for advice on dealing with wayward professional footballers

    If Roy Keane had done that people would be claiming he had lost the plot.
    If someone's not playing well drop them and let that be the end of it, he's doing no one any favours IMO.
