I'd never heard of the Surrey Mountain range, will have to have a look

The oddest thing is it's not even that tall in feet

Aye the burford bridge at the bottom next to the car park where the bikers meet. About 15-20 mins drive from me

It feels canny high when you're pedalling up Juniper Hill, but 600m

Leith Hill is the highest point in Surrey / South East and I think that's about 300m. Cracking biking territory.

I can only assume that was the total climb on the olympic cycle circuit, which is what they were on about?
