    Default Going to the gym

Who actually goes then? (as opposed to pay the monthly fee without turning up)

What time do you prefer to go, before or after work?

I go, I do gym stuff on a morning and classes of an evening.

Just joined a new one on Sunday that has a pool so I'm planning to alternate gym and swimming each morning before work. I've got a Complete Conditioning class tonight which I'm looking forward to. It's my first time with this instructor and she's meant to be excellent.

I just joined one this weekend, I go after work. So far so good, i'm getting my money worth! The abundance of very fit mid 20s ladies is a contributing factor though!

What classes do you do? Have you tried SPIN classes?

When I'm at home I go in the morning to get it out of the way. When I'm at work I go after work. Both have their plus and minus points. In the morning I'm often a bit woolly from the drink. If I've had a rough shift at work I'm knackered in the evening, but I still go.

Fair play to everyone that goes AFTER work.

Just cannot motivate myself to do it.

At the moment I do Complete Conditioning and Body Tone but the Body Tone has just been changed to Zumba. They are usually a bit of a combat routine for warm up, then some weights exercises then onto mats for crunches and other torture. Finish with some stretching (my favourite bit) and a gossip.

I haven't tried spinning yet but I intend to. I don't think I'm fit enough for a whole 45 minute class yet but I aim to be in a couple of months.

After work Monday Wednesday Friday, Swim Tuesday Thursday.

Do half an hour spin, then stretch, sit-ups and weights for an hour.
