That would be my choice aswell.

Don't think Elmo is suited to play against a team like Stoke.

Drogba is a CB, Onuoha is a EB????
Our whole team got taken to bits by one of the best teams in the country playing their best football.
Some could argue that Bardsley was instrumental in Chelsea's second goal.

Never even mentioned any of that. I just noted that whenever Onuoha came up against Drogba, especially in the last 15 minutes when he started to look tired, he was taken to bits.

Got fuck all to do with Bardsley.

Onuoha played to narrow on tuesday, plenty of space behind him for Cole to get in to. Cole had Elmo in his back pocket. Cole has done that to better players than Elmo, mind. So nowt to be ashamed of.

Think that's the most likely team, and one I'd be very happy with.

I'm still not sure the five midfielders are all in their best positions, but time will tell.

I don't see what Ferdinand has done to warrant losing his place in the side?

We all talk about having a good squad and players who should step up and take their chances, well that is exactly what Ferdinand has done. If we just drop him because Mensah is fit again, especially when he has played so well recently, then what does that say to our squad players?

Only for Mensah to get injured again next week and then Ferdinand then has to come back in knowing he is second fiddle whatever he does...

I think when fit Mensagh is our best defender, but like Bardsley has done, everyone should wait there turn.

    Gordon

    Onuoha - Bramble - Ferdinand - Bardsley

    Elmo - Henderson - Malbranque - Sessegnon

    Rico

    Gyan

Mingolet, Mensah, Angeleri, Zendon, Muntari, Colback, Noble
