    you don' have to be religious to go to church.. manygo for the spirituality of it..

    I'm not going to turn religious, but its a great place just to go and think and totally switch off!

    I'm pretty much in the same position....although I do believe in the notion of a higher power/god and I think the catholic church is now a pretty good institution and have been considering converting to catholicism

    They are canny to look at inside like, and they do smell nice. I just always associate churches with religion. Should have said religion is bullshit really. That would have been more apt. Churches are canny for weddings and that...

    not mutually exclusive.. you can go to th pub and on occasion church you know...

    I was in a nice church for a funeral last week.. a local church that I'd never been in. was nice lookign around the place..reading plaques on walls ..understanding some of the local history..
