there is no doubt Bell has improved but he has shown very little to compromise other batsman for him. No problem with him playing as I think 7 batsman is the way to go but he needs to be the pinch hitting opener or the number 6.

he never batted anything lower than 4 for Ireland so the number 5 stat is for England only and his overall average for england is 41
