Default I would like to think we will tie up the Nedum Onouha signing asap

Surely if we have intent on signing him permanently, then now is the perfect time. We currently have the money and it will give us the option of another loan from the premiership.

If we dont sign him in January, is it likely we wont sign him at all?

As much as I'd like to see this happen, I wonder what kind of wages Ned is on and if the negotiations would be straight forward they could be done in a fortnight. I'll assume a fee has been agreed as part of the loan deal.

    Or not.

I don't think he has been anything special, would rather we sat tight till the summer and bought someone else.

I'm still undecided on whether we should buy him or not. On this season's viewing he's the second best right back at the club and 4th or 5th choice centre back. With us likely to strengthen the RB slot in the summer (hopefully anyway) would there really be any point in having him here?

He's had a couple of howlers, but has been the mainstay of a defence keeping 11 clean sheets, which is no mean feat. Him and Bramble (who has also had a couple of howlers) have been the main reason for the success IMO.

He's been ok, don't get me wrong, but at the prices mentioned, £5m -£6m, I would rather we looked elsewhere.
