Why? Houiller will play 4-5-1 or stick a big man up with him which suited him well last season.

Bent is the type of lad who needs a permanent arm around his shoulder. Houllier is the type of man who alienates half of his senior players in six months.

Villa are going nowhere under Houllier. If he's sacked sooner rather than later, who's to say the new manager will even rate Bent?

Was thinking that myself yesterday...he's not exactly the best man manager and Obviously bent is the type of player who needs reassuring all the time. Not the beat man to have at the helm of a relegation fight...

I really can't see how Bent fits?? Agbonlahor seems to take up the same ground as Bent whenever I've watched Villa.

Maybe he's his replacement, he's only scored once this season hasn't he?
