In time I might be able to wish him well but I'm still hurting too much at the moment.

    Best of luck.
Bye darren, good luck mate, you served us well.
    All the best. x

Good Luck Darren, best wishes for the future.

I hope you don't look back in 5 years time regretting this decision.

    Dear Darren

You could have been a Sunderland legend. Instead you left to become even more insanely wealthy than you already are.

Enjoy your money. May it bring all the happiness you deserve.

    Kind regards

I would love to know his reason for leaving. 18 months ago he was ranting about how much he wanted to join us, he then has a great season but suddenly hands in a transfer request in August. It's bizarre.

But, yes thanks for your goals last season Darren and thanks for the handy profit you're going to give us on the way to bigger and better things.

    Good luck Darren.

Probably would of been relegated without you last season.

Pointless keeping an unhappy player. he has looked out of sorts but still scored.

Take the cash (up front) buy a couple of good midfielders, not gambles or crocks and while your on take a look at the gaping hole that is the LB spot.
