It's not cheap but it's brilliant. An amazingly vibrant place and the nightlife is second to none in my opinion. Probably in my top 3 favourite cities in the world.

Depends on the lads and how much disposable income they have.

I was there in November and found it far cheaper than a lot of other european cities (amsterdam, lyon and paris)

Far cheaper in the east (mitte area).........went with the Mrs so cant really comment what it would be like for a lads weekend but plenty of bars and clubs

Fantastic. We went there for a stag last April, had a great time.

All I'll suggest is do your homework in advance, as the various drinking areas are fairly well spread out across the city and there isn't really one 'obvious' route where everyone goes.

i'll second this, for a lads weekend oranienbergstrasse in the old east will have everything you need, i'd also second what Epping said about it being better in the summer, was -12 when we were there but still a cracking night out
